Well, I'm might have one of my 10-15 Gallon Tank free soon (24" x 12" x 12") and I'm completely lost as to what I should get next. I'm thinking of getting myself a colorful snake for a change. I do love my usual browns, greens, earth tones. But once in a while, you just want one of those more active Colubrid colorful beauties. Problem is, I'm not sure what to get. And I'd like to make sure that they'll be adequately housed in the tank. (Hehehe I don't want to be like those morons who buy baby balls and a 10 gallon and think that'll be enough).

So I'm looking for something that would be adequately housed in the above enclosure. Either a snake or I might keep a lizard. (Hehehe I want a Savannah Monitor, but that has to wait until I can build the enclosure! lol).

Even though the end choice is always mine. I love hearing you guys throw all your suggestions at me. And also pictures would be awesome. Right now, the snake I like the looks of is an Apricot Pueblan Milksnake

But any suggestion would be awesome. I'll probably be picking it up at one of this years expo's! :D

They have Apricot Pueblan Milksnake's at www.lllreptile.com and the prices are pretty good to......and I've heard great things about them.....

I'd say Kenyan sand boa. A 10-15 gal would be too small for a milk, IMHO. A Kenyan, on the other hand, could live its whole life in one.

I wasn't responding to actually put one in there, I was letting her know where a breeder was....

Pueblan Milksnakes stay quite small! many people say a 15 gallon is just fine for them.

My Pueblan is almost a year old I think, and he lives in a 7 gallon rubbermaid I believe, and has room to spare still. They are a small snake. You could definitly keep a Pueblan in a 10-15 gallon for a year at least. They are also a shy species and would enjoy the smaller cozier space for the first year of life.

O.k. I went and checked....My Pueblan is in approx. 7 gallon rubbermaid and is ten months old this month. So you could definitly get away with that tank for a pueblan for quite some time. And I am not even talking minimums here, my little guy has TONS of room as you can see:

They stay around 30 inches or so at adult size.
