Well I took my leo to the vet, and I am still in the same place I started. The vet said I needed to get a fecal sample to find out what her problem is, But she won't eat ! He didn't seem like he knew to much about leo's he said he had only one other one in this year. He gave my leo a brief exam $16 ,calcium gluconate and a 2 day supply of it to try to stimulate her to eat. But so far she won't eat. I am going to try K-state vet labs. the whole visit came out to be $28 not bad but I learned nothing. oh ya before I forget someone in my last thread said it was due to husbendry, well 4 out of my 5 leo's was bought at the same store and a guy that use to work there told me every leo in both batches died. hummm I didn't take care or " not take care of all of them" So maybe just maybe it's not my fault?? maybe?? after tha first 2 died It was about 6months before I bought the other 2. This last one was from a different petstore who breed his batch of leo's his self, and it was doing fine growing putting fat on in it's tail then boom, skinny. It seems like as soon as one die's the other one gets sick??

if what the guy u bought it from is true the geckos in that family may suffer from some sorta genetic problem like some ppl are born w/ brain disease and stuff.. i wouldnt buy from that person again for a while.. as for your current leo, maybe u could try handfeeding or a syringe or something.. i dont exactly know how this is done.. but maybe someone else can tell u.. good luck w/ your leo!!
