Ok now we all have a favorite. So lets hear it!!!! Post pics of him/her if you have it too and some backround

Mine is my Ball Python Rocky

He was bought as a WC and had ticks. He wouldn't eat for the life of me. I FINALLY got him on f/t rats. Now he takes anything even mice if I don't have the rats. He is just awesome(alittle lazy though) he is the calmest of all my snakes.

Here he iS:D :D

My favorite pet is my rat, Frog. He is a DOLL. He gives kisses and comes when he's called. I've had him for over a year, and he's getting old now..but he's my best friend and I wouldn't give him up for all the money in the world. He is a silvered black dumbo rat.
Close second..my BCI, Toaster. She is lovely. A bit hissy when first disturbed, but I think it gives her a persona. ;)
I love all of my animals, though. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I would post pictures, but my picture files are too large to upload to my gallery here, and none of my photos that are hosted on snapfish.com will show up here. So, damn =/

Gotta say my favourite would be my Cockatoo with the Chamelion and my Staffy in a secure second tie
When I am really tired though the quiet and not pushy Chamelion comes in first lol
If you own or have been around Cockatoos you will know what I mean :)

It would be a toss up between my albino burm (Blair) and our new kitten (Boo). I have never really like cats much but she is about the coolest little thing going. She is always full of energy and pretty destructive.

Out of MY animals I'd have to say I favor my female red tail hawk. Reason being is because when I found her she was in terrible condition, her wing was mauled and she was very sickly. I brought her home, had the wing removed and the plan was to give her up to a rehab after a few weeks, but during the first few weeks I cared for her I got attached and figured Id see about becoming a Falconer and after a short time, I did just that and I still own her to this day, as well as a male.
And being only a one winged wonder she is avidly taken out and she is promoted to hunt right along with everyone else's bird-Even if she always comes out empty handed on the hunt, it doesn't phase her one bit. She is always fed live at feeding time and boy can she run.. Best of the best she is. Hers a pic of her, the only one scanned.. I also favor all of my mother's big cats.

No Snakemann, the male was caught when he was a passage by me and a Master Falconer. It is illegal to purchase, offer for sale, sell or barter any native raptor acquired from the wild in Oklahoma, and as far as I know none of us are breeding Red tails (my favorite) in Oklahoma and I do not feel like going through the import/export and breeder's facilities and the whole whatknot to buy one. Which it's not to hard on the population being we have to leave one individual animal of the genus Buteo in the nest and if you've been out in the field for more than one hour I've bet youve seen at least one specimen. (If you live where they are known to be.) So ya' know, can't be that bad.

This is my Cat Salem and her dog Jessy. Well she thinks the dog is hers anyway. She never leaves that dogs side. I'd have to say the dog is my fav. I rescued her from my sister who with her two kids and pet hating husband could not give her the time or attention she so desperatly craves. Jessy is the smartest dog I've ever seen and love to perform for a croud. You put a steak on this dogs nose and she will not move until she has been told.

BoidKeeper- That is totally awesome. Golden retrievers (I assume thats what Jessy is) are amazing. But I must say, the one reason I like Jack Russells these days is because they don't do the steak on nose trick (well at least not mine!), as they are too selfish for that! LMAO gotta love that in an animal as well as one that's so good mannered like your girl.. beautiful dog you have!

She likes to sit in front of the boaphile and stare at our big boa Molly. Pinky is a stinky mean a$$ kitty, but i love her!

I love my reptiles, but my absolute favorite is my dog, Cocoa. She is my buddy while the kids are at school and my best friend. I think I'd wear black for a year if something happened to that dog! My cats Jake and Angel (particularly Angel) are a close second. I have only three lizards right now. A blue tongued skink, a high yellow leo, and an albino leo. I love them all, but the bts and high yellow leo are really special.

Anyways, can't beat the bond I have w/that dog. She's the best!

oh boy, that is a really hard question! I have lots of pets and they are all like family to me. If I really had to pick out of all of them I guess it would have to be my special needs cockatiel, Quasimodo. He was a rescue that came to me nearly dead. After many vet visits and great help of dr. Bock he is now a healthy happy bird that loves scratches and attention. He went from a bird that would sit in the corner of his cage sickly and scared, not knowing how to even perch to a bird that perches on the highest perch in his cage, climbs the bars with his mangled feet and gives kisses and loves getting them. He has been my insparation and I can't imagine life without this wonderful little guy. :)
You can't see his feet here but you can see his crooked beak.
http://www.reptilerascals.com/bird2003-07-10quasiscratch2.jpg

Here he is climbing his latter after looking out the window.
http://www.reptilerascals.com/bird2003-07-12quasi2.jpg
He really gets around and doesn't seem to have any handicaps even though he walks on his ancles and cannot grasp with his feet because they are mangled.

My favorite pet was one of my dogs (the last one). Pepito, a wonderful and brilliant doberman. We were like two close friends. He was looking me in the eyes and he could catch my mood and what i wanted from him. He used to stare and try to understand me and many times trying to dominate uppon me. He was looking me steady, straight and fearless in the eyes, trying to take the leading role. Amazing dog! Definately not a dog for everyone. If you don't know the dominant character of the doberman, can easily shift the roles and be the leader in the house. I lost him from poisoned food 6 years ago.
