I decided to make my enclosure for my female veiled a little more dense so I finally bought a pothos plant today. Anyway I know they'll eat this plant but I was wondering if it's ok that I have fake vines in there along with the pothos? How will she be able to tell the difference?

Also, how do you feed veggies to chams?

Thanks for any feedback.

J-Man, your cham will definitely know the difference between a fake plant a real one. They look, smell, taste and feel different.

You can offer her leafy greens by hands, place them in a little clipper on the side of the cage, put it in a dish.

ok sounds good. I'll probably clip them on the side of the cage and put some in a dish. Thanks!

Maybe not a good idea to use pothos if she's eating it - it is quite high in oxalic acid (binds to calcium and accumulates in the kidneys). My veiled refuses veggies - but some people either clip them up or chop them up and put them in a dish. Try fruits like apple and pear, too.
