I want to say thanks again for the help I received last Sunday getting my BP un-duct taped! (Please no "you are sooo stupid" posts! I'm well aware now. :) ) I seriously thought it was all over for him when I found him. The poor little guy!
I do have a couple other questions though.
The skin on the side of his neck (where the tape had it really stretched out) is still awefully pink under his scales and it still looks stretched. The skin is not broken, just pink. Is there something I should put on this or should I just leave it alone? Will this eventually go away or will he be stretched out forever?
Also, I removed his light (the screen around it was the tape culprit). I now have a heating pad in there for him. It is reading around 90 F. Does this sound okay to you guys for a hot side? He usually hangs out right in the middle of his cage, not usually in the hot end.
Thanks again!

I keep my balls and my burms at 92 on the warm side, no cooler than 82 on the cool side. The pink is probably irritation from the glue on the tape, lots of people and animals are allergic to that. I would just keep it clean, and it will probably shed out and be fine.

90 is a good temp....I usually TRY to keep my BP's hot side around 93-95 and cool side around 75-80........
