I am doing some research on GTPs. I plan to get my first pair sometime next year, and a few (4, I hope) years after that, I plan to start breeding. I am still researching breeders (that's the last thing I need to worry about, I know!) and information. I will be ordering Greg Maxwell's new book on the 1st of September. I have read all of the information on his web site, and I frequent chondroweb.com. Does anyone have any links that they would like to share with me? Any books that you would reccommend? I want to know everything there is to know about these snakes, so that I can care and breed them with success. Thanks! :D :D

Two good books are:
Green Tree Pythons and Emerald Tree Boas: Their Captive Husbandry and Reproduction.(All of the measurements throughout the book are in the metric system. That is the only thing that was trouble for me.)
The Guide To Owning Tree Boas and Tree Pythons.( This book is mostly on ETB's and ATB's, but GTP"S and these others can be cared for relatively the same.)

Cool! I had to memorize a lot of conversions when I worked in the oil & gas industry, but the other way around... converting everything TO the metric system. Nonetheless, this site will come in very handy. Thanks Linds. :)
