Let's see if I understand how the world works lately...
If a man cuts his finger off while slicing salami at work, he blames the restaurant.
If you smoke three packs a day for 40 years and die of lung cancer, your family blames the tobacco company.
If your neighbor crashes into a tree while driving home drunk, he blames the bartender.
If your grandchildren are brats without manners,
you blame television.
If your friend is shot by a deranged madman, you blame the gun manufacturer.
And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill the pilot at 35,000 feet, and the passengers kill him instead, the mother of the crazed deceased blames the airline.
I must have lived too long to understand the world as it is anymore.
So, if I die while my old, wrinkled butt is parked in front of this computer,
I want you to blame Bill Gates...okay?

It's kind of a funny post... but disturbingly true at the same time. It's like parents who blamed heavy metal for their kids committing suicide in the 80s. As a huge metal fan, even in those days, I can see that maybe it was the parents not even TRYING to understand their kids that lead them to suicide, not the music. I was one of the lucky ones. My mother gave me all the understanding in the world. But these days, nobody wants to admit that their loved ones are just a bunch of screwed up, neurotic morons, so it has to be someone else's fault.

That so true....I really depise the fact that so many people out there just cannot take accountability for their own mistakes. This is the kind of society that where some dude sues a fast food joint because their food made him fat!!!!! Well no s**t it does!!!!

Lets play the blame game. thats why insurance is so high, cessna no longer sells planes to americans, toys have 15 million warnings and courts are so backlogged with frivious lawsuits.

I agree, that is sadly true....so everyone that is addicted to the internet and all it's.......little "doorways" can sue bill gates for even inventing the computer......I agree red dragon, it's like those kids sueing a fast food joint because the food "made them fat".....well so did sitting on their buts doing nothing! It's a sad world we live in. You can littlerly sue anyone for anything......

And the really sad thing is that many of them win... like if a crook is breaking into your house and trips, breaks his leg, and sues you, he can win. How sad is that? ~TR~

Those are the worst! When criminals sue because they became injured "on the job".
There was a case here in Florida where a couple of punks tried robbing the security guard of an apartment complex --- one was shot dead and the other was crippled(the poor thing)...then his mother filed a lawsuit against the guard for defending himself against her son.
