This may seem like a simple question, but I was wondering what for example, het for albino means. I have seem 50% het for albino and I was just hoping someone could explain it for me.
thanks, mark

Het for say albino means that you breed a normal to an albino you will get all 100%het for albino. this means all the snakes will carry the albino gene but all look normal.
you breed a 100% het albino to a normal you will get the 50% het for albinos.
all it means is that all the snakes will look normal but 50% have the chance at carrying the albino gene.
hope this makes sense

And if you breed two het for albino together,
Out of every 4 babies you will get:
3 Normal looking:
- 2 het. for albino
- 1 non-gene carrier
1 Albino

and that is where the term 66% het albino comes from.
