Im thinking about switching my bp's into rubbermaids, what would an appropriate size to house them for life. If anyone has any pictures of there rubbermaid setups and could post them, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I think a sweater box or under the bed rubbermaid would be fine.......but don't quote me on that!

Rubbermaid #2221 or Sterilite #1756..

That's ALOT of space for a 100 gram 12" or so baby.. And somehow doesn't seem enough for a 4' or adult..

If you do house a baby in any of the two I listed, you'll need hides like it's cool for the next decade.. For an adult, one hide and one water bowl..

I house mine in 11 gallon rubbermaids. Papertowel or newspaper and water dish. This is the absolute minimum size for adults. Underbeds also work well and will give you space if you want to add hides or decorations. My balls just hide between the sheets of substrate.

The first time I have my bp hide between the newspaper...it didn't click that there was a fairly large bump, and I started freaking out when I looked in there and didn't see him! It finally hit me "hey! there's a bump under the paper!" That was a total off day for me!

It finally hit me "hey! there's a bump under the paper!" That was when I made my mom go buy (birthday present) me "The Ball Python Manual"....I admit I knew nothing when I started with a little bp...hopefully I've gained knowledge!!!
