Do you guys feed your snakes food that is wet, or dry? What works best, I.Y.O?

I do both. They are all initially unthawed in hot water. Some if them I have to dry with a cloth or else some snakes won't eat it if it's wet. And other snakes go wild when the food is wet...
I find it less messy to dry them before.

I thaw them in warm/hot water and then dry them with a paper towel as best i can. I've never had a refusal from wet food, just picky snakes.

I thaw mine in warm water, so I generally end up feeding wet. I've never had a problem getting any of my snakes to accept them.

Always dry. We defrost the prey in a ziploc bag immersed in hot water. The only time it had been a little wet was when there was a hole in the bag. :)

I feed all of mine wet prey. Like all the others I defrost in hot tap water(not boiled). I used to feed dry, by thawing under the heat lamp, but found my snakes would take a while to poop, and sometimes would need to be soaked for them to poop, specially my burm. I started feeding them wet prey, when it really started taking too long to defrost jumbo rats under a lamp. I fed them wet, and by coincidense my snakes started pooping on a fairly normal schedule, usually in a week. Plus I havent had to soak a snake to poop, in over 2 years.

I thaw small rats in a zip lock bag with hot water. large rats are simply left out over night and fed @ room temp.
Never had a problem

I just toss 'em all in a big bucket of hot tap water (sans bag) so they are soaking wet. I quickly wring them out a bit by hand so they don't totally soak the cage, but they are still dripping wet. I prefer to feed wet prey, as it gets more moisture in to them, since snakes get a lot of their water from their food, and also since moisture is lost by freezing prey.

I feed mine dry....Toss 'em under a heat lamp and flip them over every 15 mins or so untill there warm.
