View Full Version : Not head shy!
Hey, when I 1st got hugh he was very head shy as are most BP's. But, today I noticed its the 1st time he wasn't head shy!! He actually let me pet his head and scratch under his head. He was acting normal too? This IS a good thing right?
Thanks!

it doesn't sound like a *bad* thing, as long as he's not aggressive, since you wouldn't hurt him. it's not like he's in the wild and needs head-shyness as a defense mechanism. Give it some time though to see if that habit sticks around. it would be nice if it did, though. :D

ive had my ball python for a year now and hes never been head shy and never rolled into a ball.
It's a good thing, just means he's getting used to being handled and touched. Mine was the same way when I got her but is much more relaxed now.
Yup, definitely a good thing. Just means your snake is not threatened by you ;)
I want my BP to roll into a ball just once. Damnit I have been waiting for almsot a whole year to see this BP go into a ball because its just too damn cute but she just never does. LOL.
