This is just a quick one . . . they are starting to develop there back legs now. It is kinda freaky lookin to see. So I guess we are not that far from having them turn into toadlets. And it looks like we haven't lost very many so far, even though we know that we won't find any bodies but with the amount of food they are getting I don't think they will need to eat each other to have enough.

Anyways, that's it so I will continue to let you guys know how it is developing.

Well we just did another full water change on the two tadpole tanks and we did a count again and came to 197, though one of them we are pretty sure is going to die because it can't swim or anything, but that isn't to bad of a loss percentage wise. Though we seriously doubt that we will be able to raise that many and now the though of even if we get 100 to live, the cost of feeding them around 1000 pinheads a day is going to be brutal. I guess it is time to start breeding those as well.

Well that is it for this update.

Cool!!! Even know If you give them so many food meat will always be what they prefer!! So if one die I'll garanty you they will jump on him.
For me I only have like 15 left. I really don't know what happened but when they were with their 4 legs and a bit of the tail they juste seems to die. None of my tadpoles make it threw the tail drop. Anyway good luck with yours!!

If you got more than 100 toads I will give you my tricks to feed them with no cost!!:D:D

Repti: Probably a stupid question but you did have a place for them to get out of the water, right? Lol, like I said, probably a dumb question. What kind of toads? Firebelly?
