I noticed the mention of "must" in a previous post, and I would like to know what it is. I have noticed a dried up drop or two of brown fluid on the floor of my bp's enclosure, and I always assumed it was leaky poop. Is it musk? My bp is about 3 1/2 - 4 months old.

Musk is a fowl smell snakes release as a defense when they don't want to be handled. In the wild it worx the same way to ward off other animals.
I don't think it is musk. Probably runny poop or strangely coloured urates.
I agree, snakes don't normally musk in their cages. Its a defense behaviour and they typically have to be quite worked up to do so. To this day I haven't seen a BP musk, not even WC specimens. This isn't a natural defense mechanism in balls.
