fart?

Sounds like a really dumb question but i need to know because i think it happened. Do lizards or snakes or any reptile at that...fart? I just need to ask because im almost positive my tortoise let one go on me. Out of no where it started to smell realy bad and i thought he was gonna poo on me but he didnt. Is it possible he farted??

I've heard that unmistakable noise happen when they are defecating but never just out of the blue.... :)

Funny question!!! I've heard one of my leos make a really strange noise went she "went" that could only be described as a fart! Never just like that though...

My savannah monitor farts all the time!! Stinky ones too ..... Sometime accompanied by a poop, sometimes not. She doesn't really have a specific time when she does it (ex: only when I handle her) she'll just let one pass out of the blue! Pretty weird, hunh?!

My borneo makes some funky sounds. He is in our bedroom for the time being. In the middle of the night he lets fly. All you can do is laugh. Even my wife gets a kick out of it.

We had our adult corn snakes on the bed one night, and Neo lifted his tail. We thought he was going to poop on the bed. Nothing came out, but WHOA, the STENCH! We thought our nostrils were on fire. So yeah, they fart alright.

Yeah, my beardie farted in the tub once. I laughed myself silly, all those bubbles!!! Thought I had outgrown the "fart humor" stage but I guess not.

I have known one of my corns to fart & it has been when my stepson was visiting them. It was the ghost, Curly. My stepson also has the honors of being the only person she has ever pooped on !! Twice !! LOL
