Yahoo! my new Crestie babies are here. they came across the country and they look great. the colors are sort of putty and the one looks like a fire morph with some orange/red but it is kind of faint in color, right now. i misted them and turned the light off in the tank for a couple hours. i'll take some photos tonight. the care sheet i got said they should be in temps up to 88 farenheit. i did email the company and suggested for them to look into that, as that is probably too hot. i would hate for anyone to lose a baby crestie. they are just too adorable. :medbigsmi ok, i have to go look at them, again. i'm such a proud mommy.

congrats on the new additions. There awsome lizards. Probably the only lizards that climb walls and can be handled.

sorry, i can't make them big enough for you to see but small enough to be accepted by the site. i am so bad on the computer.
but they both ate some babyfood applesauce with the T-Rex diet in it. they seem to be relaxing. the one is a putty color with some dalmation spots. the other i am not sure. i thought was a fire morph, but now i think it is too soon to tell.
not sure what to name them, but i think 'Pepper' for the dalmation. that could work for a male or a female, and the other one might be "Paprika" but not sure.
Nice geckos, I have one that looks just like that. Congrat :D

What do you feed them? I just got 2 baby harlequins very bright colors and I have trouble feeding them baby food. One will eat crickets. The only way I managed to make them eat the baby food till not was putting a little on their noze and they lick it off.

Siretsap, i have just held them and stuck the fod near their nose. usually they will stick their tongue out and taste it. Today, my babies did not want any food but it may be because i switched flavors. yesterday was applesauce(babyfood) with Crested diet mixed in. they liked that better tha today's apricot with crested diet. i left some banana in the dish so they can see if that tastes better to them. i tried crickets today, but they do not seem to want to hunt, so i guess i better go get the crickets out so they do not chew on the geckos.
