Where Did You Name Come From

Well seeing as there have been a few name generator things floating around here latley I thought it might be Interesting to find out where our names came from!

I got Colonel from a long night of deep though and introspection with my good friends. So in plain english we were drinkin all night I got the handle Colonel SB and it has stuck for 3 long years :confused:

The first time i went online i couldn't think of a nick and i had my friend drew with me and he couldn't think of anything either so after about 30 min. i took his first and my last therefore drewlowe. I have had it for over 8 years now and i don't think it will ever change. i wouldn't feel right online without that name. My boyfriend even teases me about cause when he says drewlowe i turn around immediatly no matter what. LOL

My real name Jamie. It's from Jamie Summers. If any of you know who she played as a super hero *hint* *hint*. I'll let a few of you think about that one before i tell you.

My nickname was chosen based on 2 things. The word Invictus, for those who don't know, means unconquered or invincible in latin. My favorite poem of all time is Invictus by W.E. Henley. I was FUMING to the point of literally seeing red, punching walls, and almost in tears when Timothy McVeigh used this poem as his final words. I'm glad that mother****er is dead, because if he wasn't, I'd kill him. But, I decided in the end NOT to let him destroy the best poem ever written. I kept this nickname just to spite him, as he used the poem just to spite the law.

Anyway, the poem Invictus literally saved me from, well... doing something very dumb when I was younger. I've been using this nickname for almost 10 years now.

Secondly, I have a lot of Scottish blood. On my dad's side, I am a descendant of clan Armstrong. Their clan motto is "Invictus Maneo" - I remain unconquered. So, you could say Invictus is in my blood. :)

Mine came to be about 4 years ago when I first developed a passion for saltwater aquariums... Clownfish are my favourite marine fish, so when it came time to come up with a nick for the saltwater forum... Previously, I've been Ryjala (still use that one sometimes), which came from a fantasty novel... that one came about when I was really into online gaming (spent amazing amounts of time online playing Quake2 ;))...
And my original nickname was Wizzago, which was the name of "my" baby horse at the stable I used to ride at :)
Oh, and then there was Ceridwen :) That one was around for a little while... switched to that one from Wizzago after nobody on the chats seemed to be able to figure out that I was a girl, not a boy... lol.

well the genetically enhanced people had barcodes on the back of their necks and were called by the last 3 numbers of it. They were also known as the X series. So that is where the x and reason for the numbers comes from and those particular numbers are my birthday.

I dunno... I just kinda always liked the name Rachel and well, Spina (last name) has always been a nickname for me, so why not use my first name and last initial? I always thought "what the hell, why not use it as my screen name for every forum I register. That way people will recognize me from all over the web."
