Hi All, where do you find empty coconut shells that can be used as simple herp hides in small enclosores? Other than buying and eating a whole whack of coconuts, I'd like to find a place to obtain these.
Thanks.

I get mine from local pet shops. Check yours or do a search on Google.

Pet shops or shows or plant a palm tree.

I always try avoid buying things in pet shops, they charge too much, and most animal husbandry needs can be found in hardware stores, craft shops, healthfood stores, etc. Just can't seem to find coconut shells. Guess I'm off to the Grocery store...
Thanks all.

You can try http://www.understoryenterprises.com/UnderstoryHome.htm

They are located in Ontario but at 3$, it might be in a price range you would like. They do ship all over the place as far as I know.
