Hi all. I want to ship a snake up from the U.S. to Canada. I have found lots of info but am having trouble finding a phone number for CITES. If anyone could help me with their phone number I would be eternally grateful !!!! Thanks ever so much, Dar.

I'm going to be shipping a corn snake to dar. I have been on the cites webpage but don't quite understand the legal mumble. For a corn snake do we even have to go through cites, or does anyone know the correct forms we would have to fill out, or do we have to go through the fish and wildlife. Any help would be apprciated thanks.

Corn snakes are not CITES listed... the nice part about Canada is that reptiles that are not CITES listed do not need a permit to be imported (with the exception of turtles and tortoises)
You shouldnt have any trouble clearing customs with your corn snake. Just have a sales receipt handy so you can pay the GST on the value of the snake.
If you have any other questions let me know :)
