My burm was whistling and had something on one nostril. I thought he had a respritory infection so I was going to take him to the vet the next morning. When I woke up I noticed he had sheed, the stuff was gone from his nose and he was no longer whistling. I figure the stuff over his nostril was just part of the scales that were about too sheed. Im vary thankful he is alright!

ya that can happen often, also after they drink it happen, i was once holding my Ball python and he did the same thing, but like what alot of people do witch is good is plan for the worst and hope for the best.
my burmese python does it every time he goes into shed it seems like he has got a ri but he is ok when he comes out of shed. I was told it was normal for some burms to be like that

I call it the "Whistling Boogie Syndrome"- my burm and ball both do it.
