How Big Should 7mth ATB be?
What should I feed, and how often?
I feed him 1 pinky every 5 days.

I don't know how big a 7 month old should be, but I have a feeling it depends on it's sex. Also, as I mentioned in another thread, one pinkie is much too small a prey for a 7 month old. You should probably be feeding it a good sized rat pup or bigger.

I have a 9 month old ATB that's about 75 grams and about 3 feet long. They do tend to eat smaller food items, for their size, than many snakes and although I've never had mine regurgitate, I've read that too large a food item can cause it to happen. Mine is currently eating a rat pink or a hopper mouse at a rate of about 5 to 7 days. I offer more, but she's just not a heavy eater (my Taiwan Beauty gets the left-overs). I've read that many aboreals are used to infrequent/smaller meals and do well on a lighter diet. I'm not an expert, but I hope this helps.

Thanks, do you think one every five days is enough.

The best way I've found to set a schedule is to write down every time she eats a meal, and every time she refuses. Once you have a bit of history, try shortening the time between feedings until she refuses (if it eats every 5 days and never refuses, chances are it was hungry yesterday). Try a 4 day schedule and see how it responds. Also, be aware that changing the size of the food item can change the time between feedings as well.

Cheers
