does any one know what snake wild in Tx has a black head with a pinkish body and slightly darker markings. I didnt see this snake the guy who did said it had slighly rough scales as well. thanx for any help.

Possible Western Coachwhip, You have any other information? Size, temperment/responses, anal plate, belly scale description...

he said it was calm and the one he had was around four ft but thta was all he new. Arent coachwhips usually really aggresive

Yes, if cornered. Other than that they just go flat out in the opposite direction.
