Well I purchased a ball about 2 months ago...my first, she was about 3ft long or so. This snake is my pride and joy. She outweighs my 150lb year old german rotty (in love not weight LOL)LoL. But when we got her she was VERY headshy. She was also burned from a heat rock... Anyways for about the last 2 weeks or so Ive had the snake with me while I sat online (3-4 hours a day) and shes starting to love the keyboard (As well as my hands) Ill be typing and she'll nudge her head under my hands everytime. She is by no means headshy anymore. And it makes me very happy as well as proud to have friends come over and be able to pet such a beautiful creature.

But I was wondering, is it normal for it to only take 2 weeks or so to break a snake of this size of being headshy?

BTW: Ill have picture ina while

I wouldn't be surprised........if you have worked with her on a daily basis. I would say 2 weeks in a good time to break the habbit...but thats just my opinion.

very nice female!! I would have to agree with sapphire. If you work with her on a daily basis two weeks sounds good. Sounds like you were persistent with her and she realized that you weren't gonna quit just because she didn't like it. They are like puppies in a leather suit sometimes lol. Congrats on a very nice bp :D

Pretty girl! All snakes are individual in how the acclimate to handling. Some may take a lot of work and need a lot to maintain it, some may be the opposite. Its a good sign that she's comfortable with you so soon :)
