life span of darkling beetles

Does anyone know around how long darkling beetles live for? (the one's that mealies turn into)

A couple days. LOL....well that's how long mine live for :p That's not their normal span though... for some reason mealie beetles and superworm beetles like to die on me :rolleyes:

I've been wondering that myself. A guy gave me some pupae about 8 wks ago and within a week they had hatched into beetles. Since then I have picked out 7 dead ones out of 38. The others are still going strong. I will let you know when they all die off.
