Annaconda's are considered to be Boa's.

Anacondas are of the FAMILY boidae, which includes boas and pythons, but that does not mean that Anacondas are boas. They have their own genus, species, and subspecies.

Oh Invictus, you funny guy. Here's how it works....
Family: Boidae (Boas and Pythons)
Sub-Families: Boinae (Boas) Pythoninae (Pythons)
And YES, Anacondas are in the sub-family Boinae, therefore they are BOAS.
Holy smokes that Jeff guy really knows his stuff he even put it in bold so the slow folk like me can understand it (thanks Jeffer) I bow down like I said before man you know your stuff. Can I please come to Victoria and be your unworthy apprentice? Just a little dig at the Jeffer I know he is of good humor and will only punch me one or twice for that comment .Here is a real hard one for you Jeff which family/sub family am I from?(go easy now just light insults please ) ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Crap...my mistake. I did a search for their taxonomy, and none of the sites I went to listed Sub-Family. So, I assumed the wrong thing.
I'll kill you later, Favelle. :)

Hip's sub-family is of the crustaceans I believe. I'll have to look it up in my loser dictionary, heh heh. JK mandingo! I can't be mad at someone who's supplying free beer!
I'm dead. Invictus has it out for me. Too bad he wasn't a hot chick. :D
