my little ones have tripled in length and 5X in weight the female is nearly 700gr and only 1 year of age. Not looking forward to cage cleaning when they get to be that size.

Cage cleaning sucks when they get that big....... Good thing they do not go that often and they mostly go when I soak them...... I have 4 around that size...... Once they get past 4 and a half feet I stop measuring them...... Whats the point....LOL..... My largest is 5ft 4in and around 10 to 15lbs........ Locality has alot to do with the size range....... Even some westerns can be on the smaller side...... And some easterns can attain larger sizes than normal...... Locality is key...... In captivity there is no reason why westerns cant reach 6ft or better...... If fed on a regular basis and the temps and humidity are right they get huge....... My biggest one is only gonna be 5 yrs old.......

It looks like your right hand is swollen? Hard to tell in this picture as it is not very clear. I hope she did not bit you. Then again if she did I don't think you would stand there to get your picture taken. Or is this one dead like the picture of the mamba you posted some time ago? Out of all the HOTS I like the Gaboon viper the best. I am in Tennessee this week tying to find some
Copperheads or even a Timber rattler no luck yet. If I find any I will post some pictures of them here.

There are a bunch of good places over in east tennessee as well. In and around the smokey mountains is good and even up into Virginia/Northeast Tennessee where Chuck and I are from. Between the 2 of us we could show you place after place to hunt...Hmmmmm, sounds like a road trip to me!
