I guess I put my "Hello I'm new here," post in the wrong forum. Anyway, My name's Brad. I dig reptiles and live in GA. Been keeping and breeding passionately for the last... I dunno, 5 years. Interesting facts:

I was the Mayor of the Munchkins in my high school's production of The Wizard of OZ.
I once swallowed 5 goldfish for an open bar tab and $150.
I have held a 24' retic before... (I'm trying hard)
I was once bitten by a Timber Rattler.

No problem. I was on a field collecting expedition. While a friend and I struck off on our own to see what we could see (which was not much), I stepped up over a rather large log and looked around on the other side. My friend (being rather discouraged and VERY pissed that we had not yet found anything) walked up to the log I had just stepped over and kicked it. I guess I missed the nice Timber Rattler sitting under it as much as he missed me. Anyway, when my friend kicked the log, the snake came out . I turned to snap at him for scaring away any animals that might possibly be in the area and kicked said snake in the face. I don't blame him at all for what he did, but that damned snake bit me. I had fun riding to the hospital and sitting there for a couple days. I just can't stand the fact that I can't show off my bite scars now because I had surgery on my ankle.
