This is a juvenile male in our collection. He still is not as golden as he will eventually be. There are still remenants of his neonatal red color. He's a complete puppy dog to boot.
Hope ya like...

Awesome mollucan Yasser :D
Dom, it's the most common color for a mollucan. There's only 2 colors possible, xantic and axantic. The axantic is rare, all other are xantic.
Thanks guys!
And Jez, you got it...thanks for clarifying for Dom.

Isn't Xanthic T(+) albino? Are you sure that's a T(+)/Caramel albino?
Killer animal nonetheless!! :D

Jeff, as far as I know, "xanthic" in this case basically means that it has increased yellow (gold) pigmentation.
I don't think it's an albino.
I could be wrong, though...someone straighten me out...
Simon
Beautiful animal!! :)
I agree with Simon, this is the impression I have always been given.
Xanthism has nothing to do with albinism.
The gnetics of the xanthic and axanthic forms are not understood as this species has only been hatched a couple of times to date.
This year, we finally have the opportunity to breed a 1.2 of axanthics, one of which was the one that gave us a small clutch two seasons back. These are the two and only two phases that moluccans natural occur with. They are not a "morph".
