just fed my newbie....

i gave my new snake lance a live hopper today, i held it by the base of the tail, and he didn't take, the mouse was moving and squeeking alot. so i flicked him on the head to konk him out, and only his leg moved a little. he struck at it when held near his head, but missed. i picked up the mouse, and tried again this time he killed it, and swallowed it down.

bythe way, the mouse was not moving when he finally got a hold of it. does this mean he could take a f/k, and after a few f/k move to f/t? thanx please dont post the "never feed live" stu ff, i know this, and only feed live when i have to. (he was eating live fuzzies when received)

I would imagine that if he ate stunned he will eat f/k. Then I would move to f/t. Are you feeding Lance with your fingers??? You're a brave one if you are lol. :D

Congrats on feeding! And expect to get bit if you feed with your fingers! If I were you I would move on to f/t and if not then f/k......But good luck and congrats!!!!!
