My boyfriend took the picture, using a Nikon CoolPix 990, set on manual macro. :)

I noticed that has drops of liquid on her, are you purposely getting her wet while she sheds to make it easier?

I mist her and her cage daily to keep humidity up. It's not really to help with shedding, and I don't know if it actually does help with shedding or not. Keeping her humidity up certainly does though. It's my understanding that there's some controversy regarding if misting the snake directly helps with their scales and hydration or not, but I figure it doesn't hurt. I think she was still wet in the picture because she'd been snoozing all day and the droplets were still there.

If that's what the snake looks like in shed, she must be a screamer after a shed. Very beautiful colors.
