For a 10 foot snake I'd got a 6X3X2.

Would a 4ftx2ftx2ft cage work.......TEMPORAIRILY....... that is......
Yup, that is the size most breeders use, it should be ok for bcis that are around 7 to 7-1/2 feet, you will have to go 6x2x2 for the larger specimens.

Id say that would be BARE Minimum, If you can go larger it would great:D

Generally you want to give your snake 1 square foot of floor space per foot of snake, as a minimum guideline. Generally most BCI can be housed in 4x2 or 5x2 cages.
I'm REALLY getting drawn to BCIs lately. Do you have a BCI Linds? And what do you house it in?
I have two BCI, one 6.5'+ female Hog Isle, and one 3.5' female Colombian. I use 40"x24" rubbermaid for the Hog and a sweaterbox for the Colombian. They are both being upgraded in to their new 4x2x1 custom enclosures as soon as that caging catastrophe gets sorted out
Ah, I have a 4x2x2 that I would love to house one in.
Your fiberglass adventure doesn't sound like fun! :(
