about a month and a half ago my painted turtle layed 6 eggs. 5 died but one JUST hatched. My first attempt ever and one actually lived :D:D:D im sooo excited. i just opened the box and he is half way sticking out of the egg. i have no idea what to do?!?!?!? i know hes alive causs hes moving but it doesnt look like hes trying to get out? what should i do and what should i feed it? i have turtle food but it looks to big? its the little green pellets...AHH im so confused and excited at the same time :)

i have a question about your tegu. What kind of tegu is it. is it a columbian. I got one in a trade and i don't know what kind it is. it looks just like yours.

its an argentinian black and white tegu..yours could also be a golden tegu they kinda look the same

So cute!!! I wish i could hatch a little painted. What kind is it? Western, right? Because I don't see the stripe that southerns have and Eastern and Midlands are illegal here :(

Btw, It says in your sig that you only have one female painted...did you borrow another painted for her to get gravid, or did you buy her like that?

my friend had 2 turtles and he put them down on his floor and one of them ran out the door or something and 2 days later i bought one and than out of no where it layed 6 eggs. It was so unexpected im suprised i even managed to hatch one. it is a southern because my cam is raelly bad and if you see it in real life it does have a fine yellow stripe down its back.
