I got 11 gecko, some babies, some 5 months and 3 adults
House gonna crickets every where if I don't swith that.

since they can easyly eat 20-30 cricket each a week, would it be
good to feed them 3-6 wax worm each 2-3 days and give them cricket
sometimes?
or is there something else I could give them but not cricket as
regular diet?

thx, email answer accepted

no, u cannot feed wax worms that often. They are too fatty and have no nutrition. and the leo's absolutely love them, and they won't want to eat anything else if u feed them wax worms too much. you can feed mealworms, however, as much as u want. just gutload them and try offering them in calcium powder.

ye i only use mealworms with the occasional pinky and silkworm now and than...i hate using crix causs last time i did i almost had to get rid of all my collection causs my mom found one running around the house...she HATES all my lizards and there food so she went nuts but i still have my collection :) but yea mealworms are really good but like lisa said you gotta gutload them with like carrots, bran, and collard or mustard green...things like that.

I always keep a small bowl of mealworms in my enclosure. I agree with Lisa that wax worms should only be an occasional treat. Silkworms are very nutricious, but more expensive and harder to find. Whenever I see them I usually get a batch for my herps.

crix, mealies, silkworms, butterworms, waxworms, and pinkies plus i'm sure a couple more other insects. but you don't want to overdo the waxworms and pinkies they should be treats. And always make sure to gutload your insects before feeding them to your lizard to ensure they get all the nutrition they can.

oh yeah don't forget to dust your insects with calcium and herptivitamin.
