August is Rosy month. This is my first Rosy litter of 03, just out today, and this is why I told Boidkeeper, one of the problems with supply is small litters. I waited 3+ months for this HUGE litter. LOL...it's Ok,You gotta keep them cause you love em.... many more litters to come
One perfect South Baja triv, female, mom checking her baby out here, and to the right one slug
This is actually the smallest litter I have ever had. I usually get at least 3! LOL

Ha ha, talk to Ian Roy! He might have something funny to tell you.

Rosies rule by the way. They are damn cool snakes. Any boa you can set-up desert style HAS to be cool, right? :D

Cheers.

Those are born live right? As in no eggs? Woah I'd like to see that!

Fear not Trev! she was the smallest female, I knew there would only be one or two... first time I got a Rosy slug(infertile ova) though..interesting, its huge
Wrath, yes they are born live, and I've seen it in progress and photographed it. They come out folded in half usually in a very thin membrane, and almost immediately the tongue comes out and they start moving..Notice how big the baby is(on the left). It's almost a foot long and only an hour old.
Emily, they don't change color, note the mother and baby look almost identical, this is the way it is with most Rosies. Some fade a bit with age but there is no major change
