Feeding Schdule

Sage is a snow corn that is approx 8 months old. She has been eating very very well. I last fed her two small pinkies last Wednesday, but checking on her, she is acting hungry. Would there be any harm in feeding her again tonight or should I wait till the full week, since this is only the 5th day. She is about 14" long and seemingly not overweight. Thanks for the help.

It is probably safe to feed her again, snakes do most of there growing in there first couple years and also tend to be more active at the younger ages so they require more food energy to keep them active and growing. Also pinky rodents do not have the same nutritional value as a more developed rodent does. personally i would suggest that you switch to a fuzzy instead of two pinkies
The once a week feeding schedule is more of just a guideline.

yep i agree i would start uping the size of the prey. At a year old your corn should be at fuzzies or hoppers.

Thank you both. I have a 45 min drive to go get them food, so I'll pick up some fuzzys later in the week

an 8 month old corn should be eating large juvi or small adult mice, not pinks, fuzzies, or hoppers. One of my this year's neonates started fuzzies on it's fourth meal.

I have a 2 month old Kenyan that I feed fuzzies to, and he's a LOT smaller than a yearling corn. Go for the hoppers, not fuzzies.
