So far I am really liking this one. He should make some nice albinos. What do you think of him?

The red on that for a Colombian is second to NONE!
Amazing! If the babies have that red in the tail, they're gonna mistake them for Sunglows!!!

Thanks guys. I tried to get the best hets I could find. A lot of hets are really dark with heavy speckling and drab tails. I also found a nice female from Stuart at pythons.net. Here she is...

Yeah, but dark hets with heavy speckling means more white and white spots in the albino form. Don't think het, think albino.
reeaallly? Wow, i didn't know that jeff! I guess that explains why all the hets are so damned ugly. I thought it was hasty breeding...
You learn something new every day (even if it is at 5 am).

lol zoe....... I always wondered why they were so ugly too. damn, I passed up allot great looking hets then... I guess

Well, all boas are amazing, beautiful creatures in my opinion, but I must say I don't care much for the heavy spotting. The red on the tail is absolutely brilliant though, and makes up for the high spotting.

But of course. Everything that is brown/black on the snake will be white in the albino form. Of course. That's why when you take an anery (all silver and black) you get SNOW boas. Heh heh...... :D  :p

Yeah, spotting on an albino will show up as white or sometimes lavender spots that you can hardly see. I think the most important thing is to find a het that will keep a nice red tail as an adult, because most Kahl strain albinos lose their reds and some even turn almost solid yellow. If the parents keep there reds and are low on yellows you will produce some mighty fine albinos! Here is a pic. As you can see, everything that would be black is a whitish lavender color and you can only faintly see the speckling.
