Here's a couple of new Kenyans I imported this Spring. These are Anerythristics also heterozygous for Amelanisim
It's surpising how much Anery Kenyans vary.
The high contrast black and white ones look pretty sharp. It will be interesting to see how they look in 05 when I hope to breed them to Amel het anerys to produce snows, Amels, Anerys and wild type double hets, all from the same litter. That should make it almost like xmas! (;o)
Those beady black eyes, really grab ya

Let the race begin! Of course since you already have an amel and your anery is het I guess you've got a big head start over me! Oh well I've been second before. Say Roy you wouldn't happen to know where I could get an amel kenyan would you?
Cheers,
Trevor
PS
It's not the eyes that grab me it's my males mouth!

Roy, they are amazing. I demand you send them to me immediately. :) I'll be looking for some of these right away. I didn't know there were snow Kenyans!!! Anyone got a pic of one of these?

Yeah snows have been around for a few years.. Pretty expensive still.
Here's a pic from Dave Barkers Kenyan page.
Note these are paradox kenyans, as indicated by the black blotches. The ones I produce should look similar but without the black blotches.

That's a snow? Did they use a true amelanistic or did they use a T+ albino?

Do T- albino Kenyans even exist?

Jeff, to be totally honest, I don't like snow anythings... I'm a bright color or contrast nut.
Bland washed out stuff doesn't cut it for me.
I'm not sure about the T+ or T- but it is worth noting that there are two distinctly different albino and snow lines.
The ones on Barkers site are Paradox flame race from Dodoma valley Tanzania.
The amel and anerys I have are the Mark Bell original line the amel gene originally coming from
the Egyption race.
I can't seem to find a pic right now, but they look pretty much the same as the flame snows only they aren't paradox.
Here's another link courtesy Bruce Miller
This is also a flame race mutant litter
but showing snows, amels, anerys and wilds.
