What do you put in your beardie's cage

i wanted to know what other people put in there cages, so i can have an idea of what it should look like. Pics would be great to:D

I don't have any current pics. But I just put play sand in mine. I used some large flat rocks to make a cave and basking platform. And I used a piece of drift wood for him to climb on and a half log on the other end for a hide spot. You can make it as simple or complex as you like.

Might be a good idea to put beardies in there too. Just a thought. :p

lol i have a little cave rock thing they bask on and 2 huge branches each under a different basking spot. I leave the rest of the cage for running around and food and water bowls. one of the branches is a pretty nice size so if they want away from basking they usually go under there. I used to have a hide in there but they never used it except to lay on top of it.

sapphire moon - Yes, they should have a hiding area, most will use them for sleeping at night and sometimes during the day if they feel like it, or if they're frightened. It doesn't have to be fancy, you can use a half log or cork bark from a pet store or a large flat rock elevated on two small ones (make sure it can't fall on them - siliconing them together works well). or a shallow plant pot turned upside down with an entrance cut in it, etc.

meow mix - I use Eco Earth (dried coconut husk) for a substrate. I also have a large peice of wood with that he basks and climbs on as well as a few flat rocks and food and water dishes. In one corner I have hung a large pothos plant over a rock cave that he sleeps in at night. When I first set up this enclosure, I tried potted snake plants and pony tail palms but they just got knocked over and he devoured the palm. Sorry I don't have any pics.
