displaying images instead of links

Hello,
I still haven't figured out how to place an image directly into my post. Each attempt that I have made has only displayed a link. Could someone that has a better understanding of imaging please assist me with my dilemma.

Simply insert your image source URL and you're off to the races.....This html script can also be repated as many times as desired on the same post for multiple images.

Thank you very much for the clarification. I was placing the url in the img bar but all that showed was a link. I never added the <img src=" line before or after the link. Thanks a million. It was driving me crazy. LOL

I am still having a problem even after I added the appropriate coding. What line of cade goes at the end of the url address? I was adding "img". Is this incorrect?

You're trying to link directly to Yahoo albums, which they don't allow. It blocks your photo from showing up. All you can do is insert the photo URL as a link, or use a site that allows direct link/posting .... such as a photo album account here at ssnakess.com :)

or you can use this code... [I*G]http://www.your.com/picture.jpg[/I*G] just change the * to M... it would be IMG in the brackets not I*G...

Why don't you just push the IMG button on the top of the screen when you post? It does it automatically for you. Surely a simple left-click of the mouse is 10x faster than actually typing it in, no?

There's a TON of button up there for font, links, quotes, etc etc etc

Thanks for all the help. I should be able to correct the problem now. I was unaware that yahoo would not allow direct linking.

I was using the img button. Unfortunantly, I didn't realize that yahoo was not an open source for my images. Thanks anyways.
