Our fire bellies have been making a lot of noise lately and we noticed that two of them have been in amphlexus for the past 3 days. Well when we woke up this morning the live moss in the tank was filled with eggs!!!
We really weren't expecting it but man are we ever excited!!!
We will keep you guys updated as the progress goes along.

I have been looking for pics of the eggs on the internet and can't really seem to find any good ones. The reason I am doing this is that I have noticed people saying that they have laid large eggs. Well all of ours are small but there is a lot of them. Also we have noticed that one has almost tripled in size and is completely white now. Could this be the only one that is good or would that be one that has gone bad?
If anyone has any knowledge of this kind of thing please let me know as this is our first egg experience ever.
Thanks.

Best of luck!! :)
The white one were not fertilized by the male. when they are in amplexus the femelle drop an egg and the male fertilized it.
Black one are good and white one are not. Throw them away.
I have some king of knowledge about FBT but this is my first year of breeding too. My tadpoles arre about 2 weeks old now and are doing great. If you have any other question PM

Well, yesterday they no longer just look like eggs. They have developed into tadpoles (though still in the egg) that are about the size of a grain of rice. You can easily see them if you keep watching because every now and then one will wiggle around in the eggs.
