Cage size

I have a painted turtle but i dont know what the size of the tank should be. Right now he is in a 50 gallon tank and is 5 inches long and 3 or 4 inches wide. What should he be housed in?

Should be fine for now, although you may want to consider upgrading if it turns out to be a female, since they tend to grow bigger.

it is a female 100 percent causs it just layed 6 eggs..i still have 4 in the incubator about to be hatched i hope!
