Wow...I didn't see that post...now I know why herp keeping is frowned upon by many...because of stunts like that. I mean, I let my beardie have supervised trips out on the grass in my backyard... but once you've got two full-grown crocs LOOSE in the backseat of your car on the highway....that's when you schedule a cat-scan.
Stunts like that are nothing but a dangerous form of masturbation, just like when Johnny McCrazy takes his full grown Boa to a rave, drapped around his neck. Ahh....Anyway.....
Yay for sSnakeSs!!
I'm glad I found this place, it's the best on the net. I did read that post and was a little disturbed by it.

I came upon this forum by chance alone. I think I was doing a google image search of some kind, and happened upon this place, and you know what? Even despite some of the disagreements I've had with a few people here, I love this place.

I know what that persopn did was wrong, stupid and dagerous, but you guys (the ones who replied) could have been a little less harsh and still get the point across. I totally agree it was wrong and should not have been done. But also there are ways of letting people know that something they did was wrong, stupid and dagerous, that is a little more kinder and not make the person leave a very valuable and 'friendly' forum (one which I could not live without;) ) True we should not have people doing stuff like that, then have a newbies read the post and then they say "hey I'm going to do that" and have them or the animals die or get injured, but we are all here to LEARN and TEACH in a manner that is safe and fun. Maybe it's better off they left but a person will learn better with kind words then with harsh mean words.

Mistakes are made, and if someone does that, and gets into a car accident, and kills someone, and they are hauled off to jail.....do you think they will be thinking "man, if only I had left the crocs/other large lizard at home!" It is and can be dangerous. But I think that if you have the proper car.....ex) old cop car that has a wire between the front and back seat, then if it was a SHORT trip it would be fine. But personally, I don't even take my snakes on trips unless their in a snake bag..........just my 2 cents!
