Woo hoo! (I haven’t posted a “woo hoo” thread in awhile- this is good)
My parents were up visiting this last weekend (they aren’t fans of the reptile world) and so we held off feeding our 4 snakes. But last night everyone ate f/t! It was such a grand sight! 2 out of the 4 usually eat f/t without any problems. My burm has been only eating if she is left in a snake bag in the dark over night with the food. And my Ball, well, she has maybe eaten f/t 5x in the last 2 years (most picky of all- of course). And to make matters even better, 3 of the 4 ate small f/t rats when they usually get 2 large feeders.
So yey- t/f! Yey- small rats!
However, I have to note that my 3 snakes seemed particularly “dumb” at eating the rats. Yes, they were much bigger, but come on, they all sat and munched on the rats buts and backs before 40 minutes later finding their faces! Anyway- we’re quite pleased with them, slow as they may be.
