Bush has tried the same thing with Alaska wilderness, he makes claims that the pipelines won't disturb or negatively effect wildlife. He's just another slime trying to use his position to enrich himself and his buddies and using the media to promote falsehoods.

i think that its disgusting. That is one of the only places like that in the world, and has been untouched so far. Him doing this would only open the door to others. We need to preserve places like this while we can.

I actually like Bush and how he has dealt with the mid east probs but I think thats this project is nothing short of sheer stupidity!

That is just plain sick. It doesn't surprise me though, since Bush refuses to let anyone vote on anything anymore. *shrug* We have no say in the matter, and any environmentalists who go over there to protest will just be labeled as terrorists, like most non-christians and non-whites (not to mention anyone who does not agree with Bush) are today.
