I was in my room last night on the phone, when I noticed a whole army of ants crawling on the door frame over my closet. We've been battling ant for a few months. At any given time, there are a few scouts wandering around my room, but I don't keep food in my room so it's not a problem usually.

I traced the horde of ants to this little hole along the floor boards right by the rack where I keep my snakes and lizard. I wondered where they could possibly be going in such large numbers. I saw that they were going to my bookshelf. Strange, I thought. I had a couple of candy bars there, but they were wrapped. I started moving stuff out of the way when to my horror I realized what attracted them. MY BOX OF CRICKETS!!! I was so disgusted, I grabbed it and dumped out the container outside. There were still a few struggling crickets in the box, but they were attacked and subdued by the now disturbed ants.

I could not believe it! They must be desperate, damned ants! I know that the crickets were going to die anyway, but that's so so horrible!

We do not keep cricket eaters anymore. I had been keeping a few crickets alive and breeding, and one day they were not chirping. I found it odd until I went to get a few feeders and a huge SPIDER crawled across the egg carton. Needless to say, there were 40 crickets and 1 spider airborne. After a brief spider dance, the insect eaters were looking for new homes.

I had ants taht went into my mouse aquarium and would take the wood chip and bring it back to their nest. Kinda gross when you think those thing were fille with piss...
I vacuumed them and put an ant trap.
No more of them anymore

Lol, thought of something I did a few years back.
My neighbor has a garden with large wood plates to square it off.
In one of those logs, there was a whole nest of huge black ants. We ripped off a large piece of wood and it was squirming of ants.
We put some acid on there and listenet to the rice crispy sound it made.
lolol

someone told me once, the best way to get rid of ants is mint jelly.. apparently they attract to it like mad.. put some insecticide mixed with the jelly onto a few beer caps and hide it all over.. apparently does the trick fast.
