Great pic's. I like that 5lined with the forked tail. Could you bring any home or was it against the law in your state? Here you have to have a permit to keep any wild herps that are native.

those are some nice pix! i wish i could go feild herping more but havent got to do it outside texas. but still texas is a nice spot especaly for westen dimondbacks :)

Hey Locolobo,
Sorry for the late reply, I have been in NYC for the last few days (it was rough getting back home yesterday). Anyway, to answer your question, I didn't keep any five-lined skinks. However, we do have research permits for every state we did field research in and many states allow our team to be in possession of some specimens. Since our research did not require any whole live/dead specimens all the animals were released on site.
