thats cool, but i really need to know this soon cos i plan on getting rid of a 55gal tank and if this really affects the snakes then i'll keep it and house them in my bedroom(in the 55).

Smoking in the same room as you're reptiles is a very bad move IMO.... Reptiles and animals in general are much smaller than humans and therefore have much smaller lungs and can't tolerate heavy air borne toxins as easily as humans.
I also think that animals that have jackobsons organs have it worse since this very small organ is sensitive to even the smallest organisms in the air.
When it's all said and done... IMO smoking near any animals is a very bad move.

its probably not good but its probably not all that bad either.. same as cats that live in a house where people smoke.. as long as your not blowing the smoke into or on the snake it shouldnt be to bad...
I think the effects would be the same as with humans so problems wouldn't appear until late in life, in most cases. Because our pets don't live as long, we may never know how it has affected them. But it doesn't make it right.
Just quit! Better for you and your pets.
(Yes, I'm an @$$hole ex-smoker... :D )
