Which are better chameleons? I understand Veileds are probably more hardy, but which takes more easily to being held (in small intervals, of course)? Panthers are much more expensive, but I am willing to pay more for the right chameleon. I have done much studying on the husbandry of both of these chameleons and would be able to take care of either of these. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

veileds are good .. but the one MAJOR drawback to a veiled is that by nature they are not friendly ... they hiss and bite
pantehrs ae great, but that is not to say they WON'T bite, but by nature they are a more friendly chameleon!

I think it is the luck of the draw allthought veileds are more ahhh... moody lol.
I agree with everyone else here... my Veiled's tend to have more of an attitude problem than my Panthers do, but I will say this; my females, no matter what the species, are the grumpiest things I've ever had the pleasure of working with. None of them are friendly... at least some of my males will tolerate handling.
Cheers!
