View Full Version : Where do you get dry ice?
Im on the east coast of the U.S. I have no idea where to even look for dry ice. what types of places can you get it from?
you can get dry ice at some industrial hardware shops. some places that rent equipment and welding supplies and stuff usually carry it....just call around
You can also get it from meat packers, some grocery stores as well in the fish and meat departments.

Look at welding shops (Gas bottle refilling) Most will have dry ice pellets. If you have any fish markets processing or packing plants try there too.
Good luck
If you can't find it from the mentioned sources here is an 800# that you can use to locate a local distributor. 1-877-736-4846.
I'm not sure where you are but some of the super markets in Florida sell it.
here is a website that has info on where to buy dry ice in the united states http://www.dryiceinfo.com/where.htm
I'm sure there's other places besides their listing, look in your phone book
