Alright...my family and friends and I have debated over my new little guy for a few days and can NOT come up with a name that suits him...Here are a few little quirks that might help you come up with something:

1) He has a great pattern on his head...a full diamond. He also has a little black spot over his right eye. There's a link to a picture of him below...and no I wasn't being a grouch, just trying to get my cam to work!

2) He is my first corn, something that I have wanted for 14 years now...finally! :-D

3) He hasn't used his hides once since I put him in his cage...instead he's been hiding in the branches of a plant that I have decorating the back wall of his cage (This seems odd...has anyone else heard of a corn doing that??) I think he's trying to be arboreal!

4) He's an okeetee corn from Kathy Love...and a beautiful little boy!

5) He traveled all the way across the country yesterday (Florida to Washington)

Thanks for your help...if I think of any other significant traits I'll let you know!

Kristine

P.S.-- Do all of these "help me name my snake" threads drive you guys nuts??

My male okeetee's name (who now belongs to TribalGecko) was Patches. I thought it was a cute name for a snake!

I do like that diamond on the head!

All corn snakes are semi-arboreal. They love to climb as well as burrow. That's one of their endearing qualities. :)

Anyway, congrats! You've been waiting a long time for this snake. As for what to call it, pick a movie character. That's what I've done with my corns (Morpheus, Neo, and Trinity) :)

If you like the diamond theme then you could call him Diamante. That is spanish for diamond. I also really like the name Max although it is not very original it's a great name. Hope this helps.

I'd say call it Lucy. Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

i'd go with Invictus on this one pick a theme and go from there. Me and my bf name all of our reptiles after marvel comic charecters. I know i'm not too much help. But i would say my fav. are loki, havoc, and login.

I would name him Zool.

Don't know why, but I think it'd be cute.
