my burmese ate for two weeks and now he has stopped again. what to do this is starting to be a real pain in the ***!!!! help help help..................................etc.>(
How are the temps in your setup? That could have alot to do with him not eating. How big is he and what are you feeding him? How is he looking in general besides not eating?

ya, burmer is right (nothing out of the ordinary) if you temps are low or if your hot spot in you cage is too low than it could take you burm much longer to digest prey, also with low temps you burm might become very inactive and stop eating just because he has no energy (i think that came out right) also you might want to cheack you humidity. burms in general are very tolerent of bad or low humidity but haveing every aspect of husbandry just right never hurts.

I just noticed today that when my snake is all curled up he has folds in his skin. I hope that he is not dehydrating. any advise!!!!!!
It could be a humidity problem. But it could also be from just being curled up. Mine used to get that when she was coiled for long periods of time. How big is the snake and what sized enclosure is she in?

2.5 feet and the aquarium is a 33gal.
Well that should be plenty of room for him. The reason I asked is because I have seen burms in pet stores in tanks too small for them and they were tightly coiled and the scales raised. What is your humidity level? I keep mine at 60% or so for my burms.

I think I found my problem. I found mites on my burm. so I am now treating him for that and hope that all goes well after that.
Good luck with that. I just had the battle of the mites myself. I haven't seen any for about a week now. They are a giant pain in the @ss.
